Aged Care Services

Lunare Healthcare provides Occupational Therapy services in the home and community. With funding through Commonwealth Home Support Programme (CHSP), Short Term Restorative Care (STRC) Programme, or through your Home Care Package (HCP), Lunare Healthcare has a strong focus on enabling people to participate as fully as possible in everyday life. We believe that empowering our clients to maintain their independence, mobility and function leads to increased confidence, safety, and more engagement within the community.

Lunare Healthcare is able to assist you to navigate the aged care funding space and provide assessments and reports where necessary with the aim to keep you safe and independent in your own home and community.

Lauren Feely
Occupational Therapist
​
Lunare Healthcare was established in October 2021 by Lauren Feely. Lauren graduated from Curtin University in Perth in 2017 and has worked as an Occupational Therapist in the aged care area since graduating.
​
Lauren's areas of clinical expertise include home modifications (minor and complex), assessment and prescription of equipment and home safety assessment. Lauren is passionate about working with adult and aged care populations within the community with the goal of providing support to allow clients to live their best life and engage in activities that give them meaning and purpose.
​
Lauren is an AHPRA registered Occupational Therapist and is committed to ensuring she is providing current best practice by engaging in regular training courses, webinars, conferences and mentoring.
​
In her personal life, Lauren enjoys going for walks with her husband and two dogs, along with spending time with her family and friends.

Claire Henderson
Occupational Therapist
​
Claire graduated from La Trobe University in 2021 with a Bachelor of Applied Science and Master of Occupational Therapy Practice. Claire has since worked across a number of different settings but has found a passion working within the older adult community.
Claire services areas all across Metropolitan Melbourne and covers a large scope of clinical practice including completing functional assessments, minor and major home modifications, equipment prescription and home safety assessments. Claire is motivated by helping her clients meet their goals and enabling them to remain safe and independent within their homes.
As an AHPRA registered Occupational Therapist, Claire engages in regular continued professional development to ensure the best practice for her clients.
Outside of work, Claire enjoys spending time with her friends and family, trying out new cafes and doing Pilates.
